In 1964 the original owners of Cornish Traditional Cottages Michael and Dawn bought a derelict old cottage in Padstow for their family use. It was to be the first of many they would reclaim over the next 10 years initially just as a hobby. Soon friends and friends of friends asked Michael and Dawn if they could help market their holiday homes too and it wasnt long before they had a whole portfolio of properties and so Cornish Traditional Cottages was born.
